a Hair Appointment
This is a big deal. Here’s why:
I haven’t had a haircut since before my 8-month-old
was born. It turns out once you let your annoying roots grow long enough, you have
the presently fashionable ombre coloring. (Why do people pay for this?)
For the first few months, I was too busy to get a
haircut. Then, when I didn’t go back to work, I felt too guilty getting an
admittedly expensive haircut. I decided to make it a reward for getting down to
my pre-pregnancy weight. I’ve been two pounds away for months. But today…
