Father’s Day
Today was a great day! We started out with a
delicious French toast breakfast followed by a quick photoshoot before the 5K.
The race was a blast. There were about 3,500 people
dressed as Superheroes running around town (including two loops in front of our
house). Some of the costumes were incredible, and some of them were barely
costumes. To the man wearing nothing but Superman underwear: Not okay, man. Not
okay. You’ve got a six-pack. We get it. Know what we’ve got? Kids.
After the race we went to a soccer scrimmage/picnic
hosted by our fellow runners. I brought lemonade (recipe from Pinterest, of
course) that got rave reviews.
Great food, weather, and company made for a perfect
day.
Did I mention Max stayed in his cape all day long? Adorable.
