Went
to a Cool New Store
Well,
new to me anyway.
Lakeshore
Learning in Roseville. It was recommended by our physical therapist as a place
to find educational toys. Boy, was she right. It is a store primarily for
teachers, but I loved it! I would have died to go into a store like that when I
was little and liked to play “school.”
We only
bought some magnetic letters for the fridge to help Max work on his shoulder
strength, but I will definitely be going back for more fun stuff.

to an Open House
Seven bedrooms. Seven bathrooms.
Clearly this isn’t a house we could/would actually consider, but we did want to see the inside of it. Unfortunately for the sellers, it is not in the best neighborhood – not a bad one, just not one worthy of this home.

Learned
How to Hotwire My Laptop
My power button has been living on the edge for a few
weeks now and it finally fell off. Seriously, it just fell off.
After a few days of 1. Trying to put it back on, 2.
Considering paying to have it fixed, and 3. “Oh, woe is me”-ing, my husband
strips the wires and rubs them together. Voila.
I should pay to get it fixed, but this really is more
fun.

Planning for My Sister’s Visit
My sister is coming to see us in a few days, and I
couldn’t be more excited! Today, I scheduled facials for her second day here.
That will be our big splurge for the trip. After that, it is Pinterest crafts
and Ginger Elizabeth ice cream sandwiches.
