Birthday Invitations
I like to make invitations as difficult as possible
for some reason so they always take me much longer than I plan. In this case, I
chose to make them an odd size so I had to make envelopes to fit.
No matter how much trouble they may be, I always love
the way the turn out.

Koolaid Lipgloss
This simply involved melting Vaseline and mixing in
Koolaid powder. It turned out really well except that I didn’t realize my
Vaseline was baby powder scented. Gross. You do not want that on your lips.
I would definitely try this again with regular
Vaseline.

Made Strawberry
Shortcake Rice Krispy Treats
Ok. Not ALL of our projects are food projects, but
having some form of rice krispy treat is a tradition when my sister visits. (Cinnamon
Toast Crunch Treats – to die for.)
The Strawberry Shortcake recipe involves mixing angel
food cake in with the rice krispies and serving with strawberries and whip
cream. It was pretty good, but I wish we would have added more cake. Ah,
hindsight…

Tried
A New Pinterest Recipe
My sister and I have vowed to do a ton of fun stuff
while she’s here. We generally sit around watching episodes of Psych and eating
Ginger Elizabeth ice cream sandwiches, but we want to actually accomplish a few
things this time.
We found a recipe for baked spaghetti on Pinterest.
The original recipe called for letting frozen dough thaw and rise and yada
yada, but we used the new canned pizza dough (in the biscuit section). It
worked great and the spaghetti was delish. We ate it while watching the Indiana
Jones trilogy. Can you believe she’s never seen it?!
